1. Making Reservations

(1) This internet reservation system (hereon referred to as "the System") allows the Customer to directly make hotel reservations via the Internet. Any individual is able to check room availability and other hotel-related information by using the System. In order to make a reservation, however, internet registration is required.
(2) Upon registration, the Customer may make reservations 24 hours a day.
(3) Reservation information received from the Customer will immediately be sent to the Hotel's email address following completion of registration.
(4) Use of the System is completely free of charge.

2. Eligibility
(1) Any individual who possesses a valid PC e-mail address may make hotel reservations.

3. Registration
(1) The Customer is to register personal information via the registration screen. Notification of completion of registration will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. The Customer will then be able to make hotel reservations.
(2) Registration is free of charge. There are absolutely no registration fees, annual membership fees, or any other such fees.
(3) Personal information gathered during registration will not be used in any way without prior consent from the Customer. However, exceptions may apply upon request from public bodies and institutions (law enforcement, courts of law, etc.)


4. The Contract
(1) The Contract is a binding agreement between the Customer and the Hotel.
(2) The Contract goes into effect after the Customer reviews the contents of the information registered on the System and clicks on the official reservation registration button.@
(3) Personal information gathered during registration will not be used in any way without prior consent from the Customer. However, exceptions may apply upon request from public bodies and institutions (law enforcement, courts of law, etc.)

5. Payment for Accommodation
Payment for accommodations may be made at the time of check-out by way of cash or credit card.

6. Changes to Reservation / Cancellation of Reservation
(1) In the event that changes have been made to the registered information, the Customer is to register these changes as soon as possible through the system.
(2) If, in the case of unavoidable circumstances the Customer is unable to use the System, the Customer is to directly contact the Hotel. No notifications regarding changes to reservations or cancellations of reservations will be sent to the Customer in the case of direct communication between the Customer and the Hotel.

7. Cancellation Fees
Upon cancellation of a reservation, the Customer will be charged a certain percentage of the total price of accommodation (cancellation charge) as listed below.
If the reservation is canceled the day before the intended check-in day: 20%
If the reservation is canceled on the intended check-in day: 80%
If no notice is received of cancellation: 100%
* Hotel Hana-An: Between 6 to 7 days prior to check-in 10%, between 2 to 5 days prior to check-in 20%, the day before check-in 30%, the day of check-in 50%, no notice/no show 100%
* Forest Hongo: The day before check-in 50%, the day of check-in 100%, no notice/no show 100%
* Hotel Sunroute Shigakogen: Between 3 to 6 days prior to check-in 10%, between 1 to 3 days prior to check-in 20%, the day of check-in 50%, no notice/no show 70%


Liability of the Hotel
(1) If the Hotel causes harm to the Customer through the execution of the Accommodation Contract, the execution of some other related contract, or the non-execution of such a contract, the Hotel will compensate the Customer for those damages. If, however, the harm is caused by reasons that are not attributable to the Hotel, exceptions may apply.
(2) The Hotel is enrolled in general hotel liability insurance in the case of a fire or other such emergency.
(3) If the Hotel is unable to provide the Customer with the accommodations agreed upon in the Contract, the Hotel is responsible for locating comparable accommodations at another facility upon the consent of the Customer.
(4) If the Hotel is unable to provide the Customer with the comparable accommodations provided for in the item above, the Hotel will compensate the Customer for a monetary sum equivalent to the amount laid forth in the breached contract. This amount will satisfy the Hotel's responsibility to compensate the Customer for incurred damages. If, however, accommodations are unavailable for reasons that are not attributable to the Hotel, no monetary sum will be paid.

9. Terms of Use regarding items not listed above conform to the conditions set forth by the Hotel.
